Meet Samantha Johnston,
Owner of La Pine Mobile Notary
Hello, I’m Samantha Johnston.
My family is originally from South Carolina, where I spent many years working in banking and first became a notary. Working at the credit union taught me early in my career to see the person, not just the document.
After my husband joined the military, we left South Carolina. I eventually left the financial world and became an elementary school teacher. Military life gave me a greater respect for community, for people helping each other, and for doing your part where you can.
After the military, my family and I weren’t sure where we wanted to put down roots, so we took the opportunity to travel the country in an RV with our kiddo and try out different areas until we found the right one. When we found the Three Rivers area, we fell in love. We hopped back and forth in an RV for a few years while saving up to buy in La Pine.
We loved Sunriver and Three Rivers, but La Pine felt special because of the nature access right outside your door. We are so grateful to live somewhere that feels like your backyard is a playground.
As we settled in, we needed a notary to come to our home. I was unable to find a local mobile notary option that was easy to access when I needed one, so I had to rely on someone from Bend to come down. While I was grateful the service was available, it cost significantly more because of the out-of-area travel fee, and I realized there was a gap in our community.
That is why I created La Pine Mobile Notary. I wanted to offer careful, professional notary service from someone who is already here, knows the area, and is happy to serve the communities I love.
